On the front end, we supply our custom WeWheel app for all your tours & games, our easy to navigate website, the booking engine, and marketing. And on the back end, using our software, every aspect of the business can be monitored from wherever you are, whether its orders, resource control, or even labour management. So whether your a seasoned entreprenuer or this is your first venture, all you need to bring is your local knowledge and you’re ready to go!

Our customers recognize the need for a fun, interactive way to explore the worlds most interesting cities & towns, and we are committed to making sure they have fun doing so, all while educating them about the history and culture they are immersed in.

Our customer demographic spans a large range, for example our self-guided tours are quite popular with solo travelers and couples who are interested in getting to know the local area. Where as our guided tours customers are often a mix of all demographics. Our games on the other hand have a real mix of couples, friends, family and groups, who want to have a lot of fun and see all the local hotspots! We cater all our tours and games to ensure everyone has a great time, comes way having learned something new, and are filled with energy.

As a franchise, we work with OTA's to help with marketing and distribution, but we understand and encourage our franchisees to develop localised marketing plans to ensure they maximise their sales potential and build a customer & client portfolio on their doorstep.


How much will it cost to open my WeWheel franchise?

While It would be quite difficult to give an exact amount due to many variables, a minimum of €25,000 is advisable.

What experience do I need to open a WeWheel store?

There are a variety of factors that go in to this, however, what we look for in a franchisee is strong leadership abilities, a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Naturally, having experience as an entrepreneur is beneficial, as is having experience in the tourism industry.

Where is an ideal location to open a WeWheel store?

Location, location, location! Location is often the key to a great business, with that in mind, here are some of our suggestions: a town or city with a lot of history; a town or city with nice scenery; a town or city with good cycling infrastructure; close to the main streets and transport hubs of the city(bus/train stations, airports etc.).

Who will find the location of my WeWheel store?

You will, but the team at WeWheel will be happy to help advise on whether we think a site would work well or not.

What are the ideal site criteria?

This depends largely on how many bikes you intend to have in operation at any one time. As a rough guide, if you have 20 eBikes you would need approximately 60m2.

Will there be training & support?

Yes. The WeWheel team will provide training initially and will be available for support after. We want you to succeed!

Who will build my WeWheel Store?

Ultimately, it is up to you to ensure your store gets built. However, we will provide branding guidelines and supplier recommendations.

How long does it take to open a WeWheel Franchise?

Excluding training, it takes about 8 weeks from the time you have your lease signed and physical resources ordered until you will be fully operational.

How do I order my resources?

While we do allow you the flexibility to order and choose your own resources, we will provide you with a list of our trusted suppliers and the products we feel work best.

How much return will I make on my investment?

There are many factors that can influence the return you make on your investment such as sales, location, traffic and operating costs, your ability to manage and control the business, and more. However, it takes about 6-9 months or 1 season to make your initial investment back.

Can I convert my existing bike/eBike tour store/rental into a WeWheel store?

YES! If you have an existing eBike/bike rental/store, please reach out to us and we can set up a consultation to discuss the steps to transitioning to a WeWheel Store.
